The coaching focus is on personal mastery to enable authentic leadership in all aspects of an executive's life. The coaching aim is to increase awareness of behaviours, beliefs, values and explore different approaches that will result in improved performance and understanding.
Typically we undertake engagements particularly with leaders, directors and other senior executives. It should be appreciated that significant benefit can also be achieved if you are in middle management. This might be in a sales leadership/management role.
Executive coaching therefore enables you to move beyond traditional training. It provides the answers and learning 'how to', to achieving results through real performance, in businesses ranging from multinationals to small local companies.
Individuals, teams and the entire organisation can benefit from as little as one person being coached. The impact increases dramatically when more people are coached on a one-to-one basis, in teams, as part of specific program, to imbed learning after training and when a coaching approach is used as part of the management style.
Coaching produces targeted results in less time than any other learning intervention. Coaching stimulates and manages the individual growth necessary to deliver business performance beyond present levels and beliefs of what is possible.
As a result of a positive coaching experience, clients develop their potential and apply it productively in the workplace. The more they practice their new skills, the better they get. Experience shows that after undertaking Executive Coaching, clients tackle bigger challenges with more skill and confidence. They also always achieve better results for their organisations and for themselves.
And because coaching is an investment in the client's own capability there is an extraordinary return on coaching fees and it continues to pay back year after year.
An organization's competitive advantage rests squarely on its ability to rapidly develop leadership capability throughout the entire workforce. Coaching is probably the most powerful vehicle available for achieving sustained results and building organizational capability. Coaching helps you increase the level of contribution within the organization and at the same time helps the individual grow and develop.
Whether the key commercial goal is maximising productivity, improving bottom-line revenues or growing sales, the best strategic plan remains just a plan until individual people understand it and value the goal enough to make their best contribution.
